While reports in Portugal suggest Spurs are favourite to sign Sporting Libon midfielder Bruno Fernandes ahead of Liverpool or Manchester United.According to The Sun, a deal for Ndombele is much more likely, with the 22-year-old seen as an ideal signing.Having failed to bring in a new player since Lucas Moura in the January window of 2018, Pochettino wants to reinforce his midfield areas after injuries left his engine room looking bare at times last season.The north Londoners have monitored Ndombele since he burst onto the scene as a youngster with Amiens in his native France.getty2
